 Terms and conditions

  1. Entries are accepted by UdS in chronological order and are not completed until after the payment of 30% of the Program Fee and the delivery of any additional forms requested by UdS. The Program Fee covers: course delivery; enrollment certification for Visa; uniforms (bib, apron, hat, shoes, jacket, trousers); syllabi and lesson notes in English; Italian to English translation glossary; course books and supplies; lunch on lesson days and study tours that are part of each course. Not included in the Program Fee are lodging; extracurricular activities; meals; board; telephone; international transportation and local transportation that is not within a course activity. If a student chooses lodging at UdS, UdS and the student shall make payment arrangements consistent with these Terms and Conditions, including the cancellation/refund policy. 
  2. The payment must be done in compliance with the following schedule: 30% at enrollment (and no later than 60 days before the beginning of the program), 70% within 14 days before the start of the program.
  3. In order to guarantee the quality of training and services connected to it, the activities will be limited to a set number of participants (all courses require a minimum number of 12 students per class ).
  4. Università dei Sapori (UdS) reserves the right to change the program/activity hours and programs. It may also change teachers and/or speakers, following timely notification, at least 2 days before the start of the program.
  5. Universita dei Sapori (UdS) also reserves the right to cancel the Program if the minimum number of participants is not reached. UdS will advise the student 30 days prior to the start of the Program if the minimum number of participants is or is not met. If the minimum number of students is met at this time, UdS will not cancel the Program even if students cancel after this date. If Università dei Sapori (UdS) does not notify 30 days prior to the start of the Program that the Program has been cancelled, UdS will be obligated to offer the Program. If UdS cancels the Program, the student will be given a full refund of any amount paid for the cancelled course, without losing administrative fees. If a Program is canceled, a student may decide whether to be transferred to another Program or receive a full refund of any amount paid for the canceled course without losing administrative fees.

 

 

Visas and Staying Permit*:

  1. UdS will issue Visa documentation (enrollment certification) only after the first 30% down payment.
  2. In case of delay or incomplete payment of the whole sum, a cancellation letter will be sent to the Italian Embassy in the state of origin.
  3. All visa information and matters are to be referred to the Italian Embassy in the students’ state of origin.
  4. UdS carries no responsibility for any matter, concern or problem, regarding the visa issuing matter.

 

* Students must consult the Italian Embassy in their state of origin in order to verify the need of entry visa to Italy. Uds            
   carries no responsibility for any matter, concern or problem, regarding the Visa Issuing procedure.

 

 

Cancellation Policy

Each participant has the right to withdraw pursuant to art. 1373 of the Italian Civil Code. Cancellation is to be communicated via fax to +39.075.38146 or via email to info@udsworld.com and will be implemented according to the following procedures.

 

  1. If students cancel up to 60 days before the start of the Program, the school will give a full refund of any amount they paid, without deducting any administrative fees.
  2. If students cancel between 60 and 30 days before the start of the Program, the school will give a full refund of any amount they paid, except for the administration fee of 50€.
  3. If students cancel between 30 days and the start of the Program, they the school will give a refund of 70% of the Program fee. If students cancel after the start of the Program, they will not receive any refund.
  4. Jurisdiction: For any dispute relating to this contract, this Agreement will be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Origin without regard to Choice or Conflict of Law principles.
  5. In the event that a student fails to obtain Entry Visa to Italy, the student will be refunded any amount paid except for administration fees of 50€ and visas documentation issuing fees of 50€.

Under Article 13 of D.Lgs. n. 30.6.2003 n. 196, we inform you that your data are stored in the computer database of the data controller of Università dei Sapori. The updated directory of managers appointed by the Owner, including manager of customer relations under Art 7 T.U., is available for inspection at the company headquarters, as well as by contacting the following number:  +39  075 572 9935. Your data will be used by our company, by outside  companies and organizations related to it, as well as by third parties, for purposes of  sending  commercial administration and accounting materials, marketing and promotion. Under Art.t. 7 of  D.Lgs, you have the right to review, update, correct and delete your information, and to exercise all other rights therein, by written notice to Università dei Sapori Scarl, Strada Montecorneo 45, 06126 Perugia.
