Danish kitchen school directors visiting Università dei Sapori

A very special team building that was held yesterday at Università dei Sapori: a large delegation of public and private culinary school directors from Denmark, visited Università dei Sapori in Perugia.

After the amazing success of the project "Discover Umbria's EVO oil", which saw 10 students from the Danish school Sealandia win an exclusive training co0urse at our school, Università dei Sapori’s international thrust continues by hosting 20 directors of Training schools from Denmark.

The day begins with a welcome by President Anna Rita Fioroni, who introduced the school to the delegation. It continues with the visit of the school with Maurizio Beccafichi, who showed the professional laboratories, and presented courses and side projects.

After getting to know each other better The Danish directors then, , dedicated themselves to a cooking class with chef David Aprile, who supervised and advised our guests in preparing the menu, entirely made up of ingredients of excellence of the Umbrian territory. Here are the dishes: tagliatelle with potatoes, fennel and pecorino, and "norcina" pasta
At the end of the team building, our guests tasted the food they learned to cook in our laboratories, tasting other typical products and listening to the precious explanations about extra virgin olive oil by Angelica Pistelli (Terre di Grifonetto) and about wine by Leonardo Rossi (Italian Sommelier Foundation for Umbria)
